  1. I am trying to contact Allyson Adams about the book she published “The Rebel and The King”. I Bought one Directly from her several years ago, and it has become lost. Also she had Signed It herself. So I REALLY want to replace it,even if I do find the one lost, and instead of going through Amazon to get one, I would prefer to get it from Allyson and Signed, as I did before, IF POSSIBLE. I REALLY ENJOYED this unknown relationship her Dad had with Elvis and his family in 1956,I was a real FAN of Nick Adams work in the REBEL on TV and his movies, Also the fact he was in Rebel Without a Cause with JAMES DEAN!! Wow, he really got to work with these two Giants, who are remembered now for Nick having knowing BOTH of them. I have bought 2 copies of “The Rebel” to share one with friends, and look forward to more sharing this enjoyable Series with others. Thank you Sooooo Much, and for bringing about the book! R. Gann

  2. Thank you SO MUCH for all you’ve done to educate the world about Jeanette Rankin. I just discovered your work today, while beginning to put together a set of sources for my own project: writing a book aimed at grades 2 and 3, about Ms Rankin, starting with her childhood and culminating with women gaining the right to vote.

  3. Hi! I’m doing a project on Jeannette Rankin, and I was wondering if you would be available for an interview, either by phone or email. Please let me know if you would be willing to do this.

  4. Hi Allyson, when I met you last winter at Carol’s in Malibu and bought a copy of The Rebel & the King you were mentioning that there were some posts about your dad’s relationship to James Dean on your website. Could you tell me where to find them? Thanks so much!

  5. Hi Allyson: I have included you in a poetry challenge. If you are not into this sort of thing, please feel free not to participate. It is supposed to be fun. The challenge is to post a poem about what LOVE IS…. to you. The criteria are: the poem is 10 lines long, each line begins with the word love and is only 4 words long. When you have completed the poem post it and list 15 other bloggers you think would enjoy the challenge. You can read more about this challenge at https://lightwalker1.wordpress.com/. In love and light Cheryle

    • Hi Tom, I remember coming to Iowa with my Dad and going to school there while he was shooting. My brother, Jeb, and I also were in the movie and ran up to the fence during the race crash. Everyone was so nice and my Dad played a funny character. The poster is hysterical. Thanks so much for writing.
      Best, Allyson
